MTAP-IC will hold the Regional Inter-tertiary quiz bee on October 28, 2011 at Iloilo Grand Hotel.
Cashes prizes of Php5,000, Php3,500, and Php2,000 will be awarded to the first, second, and third placers, respectively. The 4th, 5th, and 6th placers will receive Php500 consolation prize each. Questions will cover topics in Calculus, Algebra, Statistics, Geometry, and Trigonometry. CHED memo and contest mechanics will be posted soon.
The Mathematics Teachers Association of the Philippines-Iloilo Chapter
(MTAP-IC) will hold its 3rd Regional Convention on October 28-29, 2011 at Iloilo Grand Hotel, Iznart Street, Iloilo City.
A registration fee of Php2,600 will be collected from convention participants to cover expenses for 4 snacks, 1 lunch, seminar kits, certificates, and plenary speakers’ fees. A discount of Php200 will be availed of those who pay the convention registration fee on or before October 3, 2011. MTAP-IC members who have renewed their membership for calendar year 2011 will avail of another discount of Php200.
